Mr and Mrs Wolton are new customers to fowler and sons, they used us from recommendations and also, we are based in the same village. Mr and Mrs Woltons roof had been ridge 10 years previously by us for the previous owners and was now due a full re thatch.
The Challenge
Stripping some of the old thatch off and removing the eaves exposing some old rotten timbers up the gables that had to be replaced to give us a nice firm fixing ready for thatching.
The Outcome
Mr and Mrs Woltons cottage was fully re-thatched to a high standard, with a nice level roof and a steep ornamental ridge.
